1988 Fender Japan Precision Bass '62 Reissue in candy apple red finish. Serial number H016056. This bass is the highest grade model PB62-90 featuring a nitro finish on the selected alder body, reverse tuners, spiral bridge saddles and of course Fender USA Vintage pickups and CTS/Switchcraft electronics. The pickups and electronics have been swapped out in the late 1990s. The pickguard might have originally been a white one, but the one currently mounted is the period correct 'peperoni' Fender USA Vintage pickguard. A wonderful bass, has some lacquer checking even. Plays and sounds great. Weighs 4.15kg.
