1981 Gibson Les Paul XR-2 vintage cherry sunburst
1981 Gibson Les Paul XR-2, vintage cherry sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 82241565. This guitar was a super short lived model in the early 80s and would have originally featured mini-humbuckers with a split coil option. It now mounts a set of Gibson USA P-90 pickups and the mini-switch acts as a kill switch. A custom pickguard and black plastics were also added. The strap buttons, bridge and bridge posts are not original. Shows a lot of wear, has excellent frets and is a real fun one overall. Comes with a hardshell case. Weighs 4.25kg.
