1975 Fender Jazz Bass violet burst
1975 Fender Jazz Bass, violet burst. Made in USA, serial number 679391. This bass was oversprayed in a violet burst color and at the same time, the neck was painted in the same color (and then removed, as evidenced by the faint headstock logo). The electronics, bridge, knobs, pickguard and most screws were replaced and the tuners were upgraded to Gotoh Res-O-Lite (many other sets of tuners were mounted prior as evidenced by the many extra screw holes). There are a few repairs from stress cracks. The pickups are original (the neck pickup was rewound) and despite its cosmetic shortcomings, this bass is a great playing and sounding instrument. Weighs 4.2kg.
