1974 Fender Stratocaster olympic white
Ca. 1974 Fender Stratocaster, olympic white. Made in USA, serial number 522220.
This guitar features what looks like a 1975 neck date and early '75 pot dates (one replaced modern pot and knob). Two of the grey bottom, staggered pickups have '74 dates and one is lacking the date code stamp. We don't know whether this was assembled from a '74 and '75 Strat, but assuming it was and it's reflected in the price.
The bridge pickup was rewound slightly hotter and works great in this setting. The neck has a nice, fuller profile and is great to play thanks to a professional refret. The pickguard is either a very neat replacement or had the shielding underneath replaced. Comes with a Fender tweed centerpocket case.
