Read carefully: this bass is assembled from a '71 neck with its original tuners and its neck plate and faux tortoiseshell pickguard, a 2004 Fender Custom Shop Relic alder body, Lindy Fralin 60s Jazz Bass pickups, 920D Custom JB-C prewired control plate and electronics, Fender Vintage Reissue knobs, bridge and strap buttons. The neck was refretted professionally (finish on back of the neck removed) and the bass is a real winner overall, great value! Weighs a hair below 3.95kg only.
