1967 Fender Coronado Bass
1967 Fender Coronado Bass, dark blue/green color. Made in USA, but heavily modified! The neck has a long scale (34") and is most likely a Japanese high quality product from the early 1980s that was refinished at the same time as the body and has a matching headstock. A master volume has been added as well as a new bridge and stoptail system, including three Shadow piezo pickups underneath the bridge. The piezo can be used by itself with a second input jack or blended into the regular circuit (which is the application it sounds best in, by itself it's not perfectly balanced and very trebly). The bridge pickup is a great sounding and rare 1972 Gibson Mini-Humbucker with Gibson embossed pickup cover. There are several extra screw holes and a few stress cracks in the binding and neck / body joint area which all appear stable. A total player's bass that's worth checking out! Comes with a hardshell case. Weighs 4.3kg.
