1960s Höfner President Bass 500/5 red sunburst
Ca. mid 1960s Höfner President Bass, red sunburst. Made in Germany. This bass is mostly original, except for the nut and the missing pickguard. The neck was reset a long time ago and the bridge slightly modified. It plays and sounds just fine, however the neck pickup has an open coil and while it produces a useful sound, it needs to be rewound if you want its full potential. This means that this bass requires a little work to be fully functional and as such it is SOLD AS-IS at a bargain price. Weighs only 2.35kg.
